Griffin Maternity | Pilot Mountain Film Session

 Pilot Mountain Maternity Session

pilot mountain film session

This session was such a dream! Moving my business to Winston-Salem was big and scary and I didn’t know how I was going to find clients and IF I did, where was I going to shoot? I didn’t know the city at all and didn’t know how to find great spots for portrait sessions. So when Mary-Genia contacted me about having their maternity session on Pilot Mountain, I was so excited! A quick 25 minute drive to one of the most amazing portrait session spots ever?! Yes, please!

The best part about this session was how obviously comfortable these Mary-Genia and Stephen were with Pilot Mountain and being outdoors in general. They were obviously in their element. Their pup, Winston, joined us and was happy to run and play as long as he wasn’t too far from mama and daddy. I have to admit that it made me nervous to see them on the edge of the mountain, but they weren’t scared at all and these shots were SO worth it.

M + S, I loved getting to know you in this season of your life! I can’t wait to meet your sweet baby boy so soon and I’m so excited for you to become parents.
