I’m so excited to share Kathryn & Mike’s sweet farm engagement session with you today! Kathryn has been a dear friend of mine since elementary school so when she asked me to be her wedding photographer, I was truly honored. I met with Kathryn and her fiance, Mike for their engagement session back in the spring. They decided to take their engagement photos at Mike’s house, their soon-to-be newlywed first home! I thought it was so sweet to capture this time in their lives at a place that will be such a huge part of their new beginning. So Vaughan and I drove out to Garner to meet them and I fell in love with this property! There is a pond behind the house as well as lots of land and picturesque locations. I couldn’t have asked for a better spot for this shoot! Another fun fact: their wedding will also be held at a family home! I love how they incorporate these special places into their photos.
