Kathryn & Mike | Farm Wedding Photographer

As I mentioned in my last post about these two, they are completely wonderful! I’ve known this about Kathryn since elementary school, but am so happy to find that the one she decided to spend her life with is just as wonderful. These two seem so happy together. They have that simple kind of love where nothing needs to be said, they just know that they are meant for each other. And everyone around them knows it, too! One of my favorite things about their wedding day was how considerate they were of their families and the fact that they wanted everyone to be comfortable and happy instead of only worrying about themselves. It was truly a family affair!

This gorgeous wedding was held at her family’s farm and it was awesome to see how much effort was put into making this day special. Even with the cold setting in, everyone had a blast dancing the night away and enjoying the delicious barbecue and craft beers. I’m honored to have been able to capture this wedding and spend such a special day with one of my oldest and sweetest friends! Congratulations Mike & Kathryn!

PS: Kathryn hand-lettered all the signage and designed the wedding invitations and save-the-dates herself! Fun fact: she also hand-lettered one of the signs for my wedding!

Kathryn and Mike decided to partake in the southern tradition of burying the bourbon! It was so fun to see them dig it up and happy to see that it actually did ward off the rain ;) Read HERE about this and other fun southern wedding traditions!
