Birth Photography Workshop & Birth Circle

I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be leading a small Birth Photography Workshop & Birth Circle at Kleur in downtown Winston-Salem next week. I wanted to share some of the details with you all here.

The workshop will be held on March 9th from 7pm-9pm. We’ll be meeting at the beautiful Kleur shop on Trade Street in downtown Winston-Salem. Molly at Kleur has created an inspiring space for hosting workshops of all kinds and I was so honored when she asked me to plan one. Together we want this workshop to be helpful, informative, and fun!

While this is a “workshop,” the format will be very laid back and interactive. The first hour will be a slideshow of my birth photography with some stories of births I’ve documented and reasons why I believe birth photography is important not only for mommas, but for our culture (this is the “workshop” part). The second hour will be open for sharing birth stories and general discussion about birth (this is the “birth circle” part). I’d like to encourage you to come ready to ask questions and share your experiences.

This workshop is completely free and I’m so happy to be able to offer it to everyone! I’ll also be providing expecting mommas with a list of local resources. I hope this will help you have the best, most supportive birth and postpartum experience possible.
