I photographed this sweet film maternity session just EIGHT days before Rory arrived! I had a backup photographer ready to takeover if needed, but I was pretty sure my boy was gonna stay put past my “due date” like his brother so I wasn’t too worried.
Anyway, enough about me – let’s focus on this beautiful baby on the way! Cresta and Casey welcomed me to their home in the country and I honestly wish I could shoot every session there! I also loved that they included Cresta’s mom in the session – so incredibly sweet! Maternity sessions are so special because I get to witness that incredible anticipation that only comes when a baby is on the way. Baby Cole, take it from me, you are so loved and were so wanted for so long!
Stay tuned for their beautiful newborn session on the blog soon – you won’t believe how much hair baby Cole has!

I purchased a thing or two that I didn’t need before baby arrived, but investing in a maternity photo session is one of the best decisions I made. As a first time mom, I didn’t know how much life changes and how quickly it changes once baby arrives. Taking the time to pause, capture this special time, and reflect through photos helped us make time slow down. The images are on our walls, in our hearts, and will be Cole’s someday to remember us by. Thank you for the beautiful art you create!
Cresta, I’m so glad you love these images and I completely agree that it’s so special and important to capture this season of life. I’m so glad I got to photograph this time in your life!
[…] Then, at 39 weeks pregnant, I got to photograph this beautiful momma as she also awaited the arrival of her boy! It was really special to be pregnant together and to talk all things birth and baby as I photographed her beautiful belly. Full session HERE. […]
