March 20, 2013

who*what*when-sday #66

March has been a whirlwind. It’s been wonderful, but, as I’m sure you know, whirlwinds can be still crazy and chaotic and stressful all while being wonderful. Making Things Happen was a game-changer, people! I am ready to take on the world! I’m so grateful to have had this opportunity to create a foundation for my business and my life as well as to be part of an amazing community of awesome creative people! I learned a lot about myself and as I continue to work through my “homework” I’m still learning. Thank you for your encouraging words, Lara, Emily, Gina, Michelle, Nancy, Stefanie, Emily T., Amber and all of the lovely people (people, not ladies – there were three men there! haha) that I met! I will not soon forget this experience!

Now, back to reality: I’ve been struggling today. I overslept, leaving me no time for the gym, and now I’m feeling overwhelmed by all that I have to get done before the end of the day. I realized that I hadn’t taken photos for the sheer joy of taking photos in QUITE a while. So, I decided to give myself a little time to do something that fires me up! I put on my boots, got myself an Americano, and snapped some photos of something I forget to be grateful for sometimes: my home. I LOVE my house. I LOVE the man I live with. I LOVE the sweet animals that love me back everyday. And I LOVE the bradford pear tree outside my office window. It’s just starting to bloom and it’s gorgeous!

That just made my day :) I hope your day is a little brighter now, too! Happy Wednesday, everyone!
