who*what*when-sday #59

Necessity is the mother of invention. This is how I came up with the idea to make Chai Oatmeal. I had plain oatmeal. I had Chai Tea. I had not much of anything else in the house. And voila! It was amazing! Just sayin’.

The other day, I was watching Say Yes to the Dress (as I spend way to much time doing) and one of the brides tried on a dress that I tried on a couple of weeks ago! She ended up buying it (I did not) but it felt like my little brush with fame or something! Haha this is starting to sound ridiculous so I’m just going to end this paragraph while I’m ahead.

Our wedding date has officially been chosen! Vaughan and I will be getting married on October 5th, 2013! That’s only 8.5 months away! It’s starting to feel so real and I just can’t believe how lucky I am! I’m so lucky, in fact, that not only did I find an amazing man, but he is helping me plan the wedding! Yep, you heard me right: Vaughan and I are having our first wedding planning session tonight at Fig and I cannot wait! We have a few things done (venue, dress, photographer) but SO much more to do! This is why I’ve decided to start a new series on the blog! I am going to start writing about the steps and stages of planning a wedding. I figured there’s got to be something useful that I am learning along the way that could help someone else. And if not, well then it’ll just be a fun thing to look back on someday!

Alright-y, people! It’s almost time for the LJP Winter Giveaway! I am waiting for just one more thing to be delivered to the house, then I can photograph it and post the giveaway! I cannot wait! I’m honestly a little jealous of whoever wins this one! It’ll be posted on Friday (1/18), so tell all your friends!

This is a complete coincidence, but next week I’ll be posting some photos from the winter wedding of a dear friend, and previous-LJP-giveaway-winner, Amanda and her new husband, Andrew. Here’s a sneak peek (check out a sneak peek of their LJP photo booth from yesterday’s blog post):

Hey there, You’ve done a great job. I will definitely digg it and personally recommend to my friends. I’m sure they’ll be benefited from this site.

  2. Jesica newa says:

    “Hi!
    Nice review. Thank you!
How do you put that filter to get rid of the green screen? Which software are you using to do so? I am using an iMac and I want to do that. Could you please help me with that?

  3. Holly Hooper says:

“It’s funny that only bloggers really get the importance of commenting, because it really can benefit all kinds of people. The people who comment on your blog regularly become your closest friends online, and you have the opportunity to really get to know them. I’m glad to have gotten the chance to get to know you better recently and I really enjoyed filling out your interview!
