Winston Salem Film Family Session

This family. These colors. That laughter. THIS is why I adore family sessions on film. I’m gonna be honest, photographing small children on film scared me. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to keep up with energetic kids and all the film would come back out-of-focus. Luckily, I have the perfect model to work with at home :)

After hosting the #ljpminisessions, I gained so much confidence with film family sessions. Sometimes taking the leap is the only way to learn and I’m so glad I did! Film encourages me to slow down and really wait for those perfect moments.

Sweet Grayson is also an aspiring photographer and wanted to take a few head shots during our session. So we found a great little spot with some pretty light to take the above photos. Isn’t she gorgeous?! I can’t wait to see where her business takes her!
