As a photographer, sometimes I take a step back and look at my life and can’t help but be extremely grateful for the people that have been put in it. I have wonderful friends, family and colleagues. This past month has been a whirlwind. We’ve been getting ready to welcome a new little one into our world and that means tying up any loose ends that I may have. I’ve been scheduling shoots, booking weddings, meeting with clients, etc. and while it seems a little overwhelming, I am so honored and grateful to get to do what I do and to be busy doing it.

I’m excited to be shooting my first wedding of 2015 this weekend and to start shooting more often in the next few weeks. There have been so many supportive people in my life and so many fellow wedding professionals that have included me in their shoots and ideas. I can’t really explain how amazing it’s been to be a part of the wedding community here in Raleigh and how it’s helped my business grow so much. I can’t wait to share more of what’s in the works for LJP!

I’m also incredibly grateful for this baby who is constantly kicking and playing while I’m working away! He/she reminds me everyday that this time is fleeting and everything is about to change! I can’t wait for a new kind of craziness to begin!
