See that sweet, smiley girl above? Well she just turned one and I was honored to be there to capture all the fun! Avery donned her best tutu and invited all her friends over to celebrate. There was an adorable puppet show and lots of delicious treats – I personally can’t think of a better way to celebrate a birthday!

Upon arrival at the Bergman home, I was welcomed by smiling faces and Pinterest-worthy party decor. I couldn’t help myself from over-shooting: it was all just so adorable! Throwing a party for a one-year-old is hard because you can’t be sure if they’ll actually have fun, but this family planned a perfect party. Avery laughed and enjoyed the entire party! She especially loved her puppet show.

I don’t get to photograph birthday parties often, but I truly do love when I do! Being a part of these special celebrations with families is why I do what I do. These are the moments they’ll remember, these are the days that they’ll tell their children about, these are the good times they’ll look back on for the rest of their lives. It’s amazing to document these beautiful lives.
