Virtual “Face-to-FaceTime” Sessions

Virtual sessions, mother and son on bed, playing

Two words: VIRTUAL. SESSIONS. Raise your hand if you’re missing seeing your friends and family. Now raise your hand if you’re missing your favorite brunch spot. And finally, raise your hand if you’re missing tiny things you took for granted, like going to the grocery store without having to first locate your face mask, gloves, and hand sanitizer. Or maybe just working alongside actual humans instead of zoom-calling into every meeting.

It’s definitely a whole new world, friends, and we’re all missing certain aspects of “normal” life. I’m really missing my dedicated work time and being able to take my boys to the park, museum, and library. One of the things I’m missing the most is photographing YOU! I miss connecting with my clients to tell their stories through photographs. So, because I just couldn’t wait to get back to work photographing your beautiful lives, I’m excited to announce a whole new type of session: Face-to-FaceTime Sessions!

So how do they work? It’s pretty simple: We hop on a FaceTime (or Zoom) call with you and snap photos through your phone! I will direct you just like I would during a regular session, except you are in charge of moving the phone and propping it up. After that, I bring the images onto my computer, edit them, and send you an online gallery of beautiful moments!

These sessions are perfect for:

  • Fun, stress-free family photos
  • A sweet Mother’s Day gift
  • Maternity photos
  • Newborn photos
  • Brand/lifestyle photos

Book your session here!

This session with Radhika and her sweet Everest was SO much fun! Here’s what she had to say about it: “This session just shows how much Lauren knows what she’s doing. I can’t believe these incredibly beautiful images came from a phone!”

Here are all the deets

  • 30 minute session
  • 20 images included (delivered in time for Mother’s Day)
  • Your choice of petite bouquet or flower crown from Flora Wedding & Event Flowers
  • $150 + tax

Preparing for your virtual sessions

First, sign up for your session date and time HERE. The best way to choose the time of day is by knowing when the light is best in your home – do you get better morning or afternoon light?

Once you’ve chosen your time slot, I’ll send over an invoice, contract, and questionnaire. This will help me get to know you and your desires for this session together. In this questionnaire, you’ll also let me know if you’d prefer a flower crown or bouquet and I’ll let you know when and where to pick it up!

When your session day arrives, I’ll call you on FaceTime! You’ll need is something to prop up your phone, but don’t be afraid to get creative. You don’t necessarily need a tripod – you can use boxes, books, or anything else that will keep the phone in place.

As far as dress goes, this is completely up to you! You can be as dressy or casual as you’d like! If a cozy at-home session is what you prefer, let’s do it! If you’d like to dress up a little and head to the backyard, we can make that happen! I’m excited to see your vision come to life.

Book your virtual sessions now!

Please let me now if you have any other questions that I can answer! I can’t wait to see you and capture some sweet memories with these virtual sessions!

If you prefer to book a spot for an in-person session once the Shelter At Home mandate has been lifted, please get in touch HERE.
