Well, it’s the second week of 2013. How are your resolutions going? I’ll admit that I’ve slipped a little this week, but that doesn’t mean I’m giving up. I slept in a little too much yesterday, but that doesn’t mean that my alarm isn’t still set for 8am. I didn’t get my car cleaned out last weekend (I was a little bit busy with other exciting things…keep reading for more on that) but I still have plans to get it clean this weekend. Just know that if you’re already struggling with your resolutions, you aren’t alone and you don’t need to feel discouraged. Just get back up and make it all happen this year! Every day is a new day!

So, about those “exciting things” I mentioned: I found a wedding dress last weekend! Yep, it’s true! I found the cutest little boutique in Cary called Lana Addison and the whole experience was just awesome! If you’re in the market for a wedding dress (and can’t afford some of the other boutiques in the area), please check them out! The staff was great and the whole atmosphere was just adorable: they’ve set up shop in a charming old house! I can’t wait to go back for alterations! I mean, how cute is this?:

On a completely different note, have any of you tried to watch American Horror Story? Because it’s terrifying! Maybe it was the fact that I was attempting to watch it alone, or maybe I’m just a baby, but I could barely get past the opening credits. I’d really like to watch it after hearing how great it is, so if anyone wants to come over and hold my hand while I watch it, you are more than welcome! Vaughan hates scary stuff so it’s gonna take a lot of convincing to get him to join me.
